Standard Option PPO gives you the freedom to select your health care provider. You receive benefits for covered services performed by both preferred and non-preferred providers. When you use preferred providers, your out-of-pocket expenses, such as coinsurance and copayment amounts, will be less.
Basic Option PPO features a lower premium than Standard Option and no deductibles. Under Basic Option, you must use a preferred provider to receive covered benefits, except in certain situations.
