Wilmington, Del. (Oct. 14, 2021) – Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware is pleased to announce its third quarter BluePrints for the Community grant awardees, which will collectively receive more than $1 million in funding. BluePrints for the Community has already committed more than $2.8 million in 2021 through its standard and small grants programs.
“We continue to be impressed by the leadership and impact of our nonprofit partners,” said Nick Moriello, President of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware. “We’re pleased to be supporting seven organization throughout the state, all doing important work to address the health needs of Delawareans.”

Whether building upon existing progress or implementing new approaches, these organizations are providing valuable and oftentimes life-changing supports and services,” said Rita Landgraf, chair of the Blueprints for the Community Advisory Council.
The donor-advised fund focuses on projects and programs throughout Delaware that improve health outcomes and is accepting applications on a quarterly basis at www.delcf.org/grants. All Delaware 501c3 organizations are eligible to submit proposals that address social determinants of health, increase access to health care for the uninsured/underserved, reduce health disparities in minority communities, support early childhood health, or recruit/train health care professionals.
