Highmark Blue Shield contracts with Grand View Hospital in Southeast Pennsylvania
PHILADELPHIA (July 18, 2023) – Highmark Blue Shield today announced that Grand View Health’s Grand View Hospital has entered into a Pennsylvania Insurance Department and Pennsylvania Department of Health approved in-network provider contract with Highmark Inc., on behalf of itself and its affiliate health plans.
Since 1913, Grand View Health has provided residents of Bucks and Montgomery counties with comprehensive healthcare services. More than 110 years later, Grand View offers both inpatient and outpatient care in the areas of surgery and orthopedics, women’s and children’s health, heart and vascular care, and cancer treatment. Grand View Health is accredited as a Level II Adult Trauma Center.
Grand View Health joins Temple Health and Penn Medicine as an additional hospital system that has entered into a separate agreement with Highmark Inc. and its affiliate health plans in Southeast Pennsylvania.

Grand View Health is a private, non-profit hospital treating tens of thousands of patients each year. The health system offers advanced services at two urgent care centers, six specialized outpatient centers, and their 168-bed main campus. Most recently, Grand View opened a six-story hospital addition in Sellersville featuring 52 private patient rooms designed to accommodate the needs of ICU and PCU patients.
