PITTSBURGH (May 26, 2020) — Highmark launched a refreshed version of Highmark.com to provide a more user-friendly experience for online visitors. The new site serves as a digital front door to Highmark resources for all customers — groups, individuals, families, Medicare, employers and producers. Instead of searching multiple sites for relevant information, customers can visit one URL and find everything they need clearly laid out within the updated website.
“This new version of Highmark.com was crafted with our customers at the center of the design,” said Stacy Byers, vice president, Customer Experience, Highmark Health. “Our main goal was to solve existing paint points for customers and create a space where they can quickly and easily find all the information they need, in one website visit.”
Highmark.com supports more than 100,000 visitors per quarter. By integrating Highmark webpages on niche topics like Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) or e-billing into this refreshed Highmark.com site, we created a single hub of information and anticipate visitor numbers will increase significantly.
Currently, a new tab will open for users seeking information on narrowly focused topics. The next phase of this refresh focuses on building all that information and functionality into Highmark.com so users can stay in one tab and accomplish everything they need. The latest version of Highmark.com is only the first of many planned updates to the site. We are actively listening to customer feedback and continuously updating to build a better experience.
Now, Highmark.com automatically fits to a visitor’s screen size — shifting formats to accommodate users on desktop and laptop computers, as well as smart phones and tablets. The new site dwindles options that populate when searching online for our business, and redirects all inquiries first to Highmark.com. Our homepage was redesigned so visitors can easily find where they need to click when searching for particular information.
