The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk and is part of the Highmark Bright Blue Futures charitable giving and community involvement program that focuses on improving equitable access to care, quality of life, and economic resilience in the communities we serve.

Presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, the Richard S. Caliguiri Great Race, established in 1977 by the mayor as a community fun run, has grown to become Pennsylvania’s largest 10K—and one of the largest 10K races in the nation.

Highmark Light Up Night® makes its much-anticipated return for its 62nd-anniversary celebration with live entertainment, holiday shopping, family fun, and so much more! Get ready for more fireworks displays than ever, too.

Ring in the New Year with the annual First Night celebration, featuring fireworks, concerts, music, and more. Some activities require a purchased admission button, but ours are totally free.
